Ghana (Accra) - October 6 - 12, 2019

Structure of business mission to Ghana

Arrival on Sunday the 6th of October 2019 in Accra  from your point of departure anywhere in the world. Departure from Accra to your final destination on Saturday the 12th of October (you can extend your own visit in Ghana for tourist purposes on individual basis if you wish to do so).

Meetings, activities, and feasibility studies on the ground will take place from Monday the 7th to Friday the 11th for five very intensive whole days.

Mission Schedule

  • Your mission leader will be Akosua Annobil. The group will be welcomed on Monday morning by representatives of the Ghana Investment Promotion Center who will also give us an introduction to the opportunities on the ground

  • Meetings with local businesses and industry stakeholders who are looking for partners or investors will follow throughout the week from morning to evening

  • Site visits, feasibility assessments, and introductions to potential business partners in your industry that will serve your own start up or market entry plans are part of the schedule

  • The mission will be highly practical and flexible and we will tailor it towards the unique requirements and industry interests of the mission participants even at last minute when new questions arise during our visit, so we can guarantee high responsiveness, satisfaction, and output.

  • Why our Diaspora Business & Investment Missions are different from other trade missions: They are hands-on, intense, and allow a much higher level of practical interaction with real opportunities and people on the ground. Our business missions are not statically pre-planned, but highly responsive towards the interests and requirements of the mission group participants - therefore no mission is the same.

Extras & benefits

  • Groups consulting sessions during the mission to narrow down your business or investment plan. Access to Dr. Harnet and Akosua with important follow up questions (in writing).

  • We will assist you in the follow-up on communication with local stakeholders and action planning 1 month after our mission to Ghana to allow your momentum to continue.

Our Africa Diaspora Business Missions are for people who have already decided that they want to do business with Africa or invest there. We are working with government stakeholders and local businesses on the ground who invest their time and trust in us and we want to deliver output and build new ventures in or with Africa. Therefore: serious participants only.

Availability

Please note that seats are available at a very limited number. Each business mission will consist of 5-9 people only. You may want to book quickly to avoid disappointment. You can however be put on the waiting list or secure your seat for the next mission.

How to book your participation

Click on the REGISTER NOW button below. On the new registration page select your mission option at the top right and then click on 'purchase offer' to proceed. You will receive a short thank you note in the end, which means your payment has gone through. You will then receive consecutive e-mails in the run-up to the business missions with all the information you need.

Payments via Paypal to [email protected] is possible, too.

Cancellation

Cancellations can be made up to 8 weeks prior to travel and any payments you have made towards the mission will be fully refunded. A cost of 50% is due 7-4 weeks prior to our trip. And 100% payment for last minute cancellations (less than 4 weeks), as the mission only consists of few members and someone else could have booked your seat. However, if a last-minute replacement can be found (e.g. from the waiting list) a full refund is due to you.

If for any reason an inadequate number of people (three or less) should have registered for one mission, we reserve the right to cancel the mission up to 4 weeks prior to travel and fully refund you. However this scenario is pretty unlikely.
